Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, leveraging telehealth technology to reach clients in the comfort of their own homes. The work hours are set from Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotating basis, ensuring availability to accommodate patient schedules. Our telehealth facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to assist you in delivering high-quality care while maintaining comfortable interaction with clients online.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and challenges, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver impactful interventions tailored to clients' needs.

• Provide essential education and support to clients and their families surrounding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to enhance their understanding and management of these conditions.

• Monitor client progress throughout treatment, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to respond to evolving needs and achieve optimal outcomes.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated services delivery.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders, continuously improving your treatment methods and professional knowledge.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that focus on enhancing clinical skills and treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals grappling with mood disorders, ranging from mild anxiety to severe depression and bipolar disorder. The patients are diverse, reflecting a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences, allowing for an enriching and challenging clinical environment where you can make a meaningful impact.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong comprehension of psychopharmacology and a proven ability to work in conjunction with psychiatrists and medical staff.

• Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to build trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, two years of post-licensure experience specializing in treating mood disorders is strongly preferred. A record of successful case outcomes in similar settings will be considered an asset, alongside familiarity with telehealth platforms and methodologies.
