Great Valley Counseling Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team in a remote capacity. This full-time role allows professionals to engage with clients through a telehealth setting, providing high-quality mental health care without the barriers of traditional in-person therapy. Our ideal candidate will have a focus on treating mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues.

Work Environment\n

This position operates entirely in a remote telehealth framework, allowing you to connect with clients through secure virtual platforms. Our work setting is designed to promote flexibility and comfort for both therapists and clients, facilitating a conducive environment for therapy sessions. While the role primarily adheres to a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, there may be occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis, accommodating clients' varying needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity and frequency of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring an accurate understanding of their unique challenges.

• Work directly with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that reflect their specific therapeutic goals and preferences, adjusting these plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders and facilitate better coping mechanisms for clients.

• Provide education to clients and their families about mood disorders, exploring treatment options and self-management strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Monitor and document clients' progress meticulously, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary approach to promote integrated care for each client.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in team meetings, case consultations, and remaining informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment for mood disorders.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders within the broader community to reduce stigma and improve access to mental health support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Great Valley Counseling Center, you will primarily work with a diverse population struggling with various mood disorders. You will provide crucial support to individuals experiencing moderate to severe depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, and stress-related issues. Our clients come from all walks of life, and by offering remote therapy, we can reach those who may have limited access to mental health services due to geographical or logistical concerns.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Demonstrated skill and knowledge in evidence-based treatment modalities specific to mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is preferred, we are more focused on the quality of care and the clinical outcomes of your service. Experience with integrated care models and coordination with multidisciplinary teams will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
