Academic Records Coordinator (Asc I) (Fresno)

Academic Records Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator I) This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), probationary, non‑exempt position under the general supervision of the University Registrar and the Assistant Registrar of Academic Records. Job Summary The role involves moderate to complex clerical and technical assignments, including processing retroactive withdrawals, academic standing updates, student information updates, enrollment verifications, grade corrections, incomplete grade extensions, and other student record or grade related forms. The coordinator provides customer service to faculty, staff, students, and the general public, and assists the Assistant Registrar of Records with electronic transcript processing. The Records team processes all incoming and outgoing official transcripts. Key Qualifications Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing and draft/compose correspondence and standard reports Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with others inside and outside the university Capacity to learn and interpret a wide variety of complex policies and procedures and support the mission of the department, school, and university Independent organization and prioritization of multiple work assignments and projects Quick learner of new office support technology systems and software packages Education and Experience Completion of a high school diploma, technical/vocational program or their equivalent, combined with three years of general office experience.
