Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess clients’ needs by conducting thorough evaluations and gathering relevant information to create an individualized treatment plan.

• Provide therapeutic intervention through various modalities, including crisis intervention and long-term counseling, both via phone and in-person sessions.

• Offer education and support to clients and their families, assisting them in navigating the complexities of mental health and community resources.

• Identify and address signs of child abuse or neglect, following established protocols to ensure the safety of vulnerable clients.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records, facilitating seamless communication among the multidisciplinary team through timely report preparation.

• Engage collaboratively with external agencies and organizations to coordinate referrals and services that benefit clients.

• Participate in ongoing training, regular supervision, and team meetings to enhance personal skills and contribute to team cohesion.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents experiencing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. This role centers on creating safe spaces within the school environment for students affected by issues such as abuse, mental health disorders, and familial substance abuse. The LCSW must demonstrate cultural competence and adaptability when interacting with diverse populations and tailoring care to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut.

• Proficient in the use of technology and standard software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for documentation and communication purposes.

• Possess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening and empathy to foster trusting relationships with clients.

• A valid driver’s license is required to facilitate travel for in-person meetings when necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to the base salary, employees may receive monthly productivity bonuses, significant continuing professional development opportunities, and ongoing supervision support.
