This full-time, onsite position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Joint Journey Physical Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to understand their physical conditions and symptoms, utilizing your clinical expertise to evaluate their needs.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and formulating individualized treatment plans based on best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
• Teaching patients proper techniques for therapeutic exercises and guiding them through their rehabilitation process with encouragement and positivity.
• Administering therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, massage, and other interventions to promote healing and recovery.
• Assisting patients with mobility aids, including walkers and wheelchairs, ensuring their safety and comfort during sessions.
• Maintaining comprehensive patient records including progress notes, treatment goals, and follow-up strategies to monitor improvements and adjust care as needed.
• Educating patients and their families on in-home treatment options and exercises to support recovery outside of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, spanning all ages from children to seniors. We treat a range of conditions including sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Your role will be critical in not only delivering therapy but also fostering meaningful relationships with patients, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey, and helping them regain their strength and mobility.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping to keep precise track of patient progress and treatment plans.
• A high degree of adaptability and agility to cope with the dynamic nature of patient care.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants with a diverse range of backgrounds, candidates with at least two years of experience in outpatient therapy settings will find this role particularly well-suited to their expertise. Familiarity with electronic health records and treatment modalities will also be advantageous.
