Work Environment

This position is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Front Royal, Virginia. The work environment is onsite, allowing for direct patient interaction and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, including reviewing pertinent medical history, performing assessments, and establishing individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies effectively with patients and their families, engaging them in goal-setting processes.
• Implement treatment protocols based on clinical findings and patient needs, employing a range of therapeutic exercises and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring cohesive and coordinated treatment pathways.
• Monitor patients' conditions and document changes requiring adjustments to the care plan; initiate referrals for further medical or rehabilitation consultations as necessary.
• Lead discharge planning processes, ensuring patients have a clear understanding of their follow-up care and recovery strategies.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient interactions, therapy sessions, and billing codes to align with regulatory and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center primarily serves a diverse population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain disorders. You will be tasked with tailoring treatments to each patient's unique circumstances, aiming to restore function and independence while focusing on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to formulate and execute effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred, particularly in a rehabilitation center.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits
