Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Hughstone Medical Physicians Services, your key responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions within an outpatient setting.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that utilize exercise, stretching techniques, hands-on therapy, and various medical equipment to relieve pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitoring patient progress meticulously and documenting all treatments, responses, and adaptations to therapy plans as warranted.
• Revising therapeutic goals based on ongoing evaluations and tailoring new treatment plans to reflect changes in patient conditions.
• Assessing and fitting patients for assistive devices that promote independence in self-care and mobility, ensuring safety and efficacy.
• Providing extensive education and support to patients, caregivers, and family members regarding therapeutic techniques and the use of assistive devices.
• Maintaining professional knowledge through continuous education, attending workshops, and engaging with professional organizations to stay updated on best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
