This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to provide mental health care to clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues, all from the comfort of your own home. In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions that are integral to improving the mental well-being of our diverse clientele.

The standard schedule is straightforward, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for evenings and weekends free from work commitments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in individual clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their personal needs, goals, and therapy preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Provide education about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care strategies while also supporting family members of clients.
\n
• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as required to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.
\n
• Stay informed on advancements in mental health treatment to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Maintain secure and accurate records in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
\n
• Engage in case consultations and collaborative team meetings to reinforce teamwork and share best practices across the organization.

• Actively advocate for clients, working to destigmatize mental health issues and ensure that their voices are heard in the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on assisting clients dealing with a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. By working with diverse client populations, you will address different cultural perspectives and experiences that influence mental health, leading to more personalized and effective treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and up-to-date licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• Proven experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• In-depth understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatric professionals.

• A strong record of enhancing client outcomes in managing mood disorders.
\n
• Outstanding communication abilities and capacity to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $52,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
