Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, specifically focused on evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients using standardized assessment tools and frameworks.

• Collaborate closely with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, therapeutic goals, and preferences, integrating both their input and clinical guidelines.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, exploring treatment options and self-care strategies that promote better mental health outcomes.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic effectiveness and client engagement.

• Work in partnership with psychiatrists and other health professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses all dimensions of client health.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorders and treatment methodologies, actively participating in ongoing education and training.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans while adhering to legal and ethical standards for confidentiality and documentation.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and share insights on best practices.

• Actively promote de-stigmatization of mood disorders, advocating for clients' mental health needs both in and outside the clinical setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, providing compassionate care to clients from a variety of backgrounds. You will develop therapeutic relationships that empower clients to understand and manage their conditions, fostering resilience and promoting long-term stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized, accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in the area of mood disorders.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
\n
• Exemplary communication skills, with the ability to relate to clients from diverse backgrounds, building rapport and trust.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience working with clients suffering from mood disorders in a clinical setting is highly desirable. A proven history of successful therapeutic interventions and positive client outcomes will set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits\n
