With a schedule that supports work-life balance, you will operate Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, allowing you to have evenings and weekends free. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health and substance use issues, as well as co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized, actionable treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions for both mental health and substance misuse, adapting as necessary to respond to client progress and feedback.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions designed to equip clients with essential skills such as coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques.

• Engage actively in care coordination with an interdisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure an integrated approach to treatment and recovery support.

• Implement ongoing monitoring for substance use and leverage motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and commitment to the recovery trajectory.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be assisting individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Clients range from those experiencing anxiety and depression paired with alcohol or drug addiction to those dealing with complex psychosocial factors that contribute to their behavioral health challenges. Your holistic approach will not only focus on therapeutic interventions but will also encompass lifestyle adjustments and the integration of support systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Sound knowledge and proven proficiency in employing evidence-based therapies pertinent to co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Strong comprehension of the correlation between mental health and substance use issues, combined with the ability to engage with a diverse client demographic.

• Exemplary interpersonal skills, with a keen aptitude for collaboration within multidisciplinary settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, set at $115,000 to $130,000 annually.
