Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, critically identifying co-occurring disorders that may impact their treatment path.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients, utilizing evidence-based strategies such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) to address dual challenges.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients' coping skills, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention strategies.

• Collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, ensuring a well-rounded and cohesive approach to client care.

• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate clients’ understanding of their conditions and inspire active engagement in their treatment.

• Educate clients and their families on the intricate relationship between mental health and substance use, emphasizing the significance of treatment adherence and support networks.

• Maintain accurate records of treatment interventions, progress, and referrals as per ethical and legal norms, ensuring client confidentiality and upholding best practices in documentation.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
