In this full-time position, you will work remotely, serving clients through our outpatient office in Amarillo, Texas. Your role will involve providing empathetic, individualized care to patients dealing with the aftermath of trauma, aiming to foster resilience and healing.

Key Responsibilities\n

In your role, you will engage in various duties that directly impact our client's recovery journey, including:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand the patient's trauma history and tailor specific treatment interventions.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma, enhancing coping mechanisms, and promoting overall healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses clients' multifaceted needs, ensuring a holistic recovery approach.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention to support patients during distressing moments related to their trauma.
\n
• Educating clients and families on understanding trauma responses and available support systems.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous client records in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.

• Participating in team meetings and case consultations to ensure that collaborative insights and collective expertise influence patient care.

• Staying attuned to the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continuously enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients span a diverse demographic spectrum, and you will adapt your treatment strategies to meet their unique cultural and personal backgrounds, ensuring that care is respectful and responsive to their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Excellent communication skills that reflect a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology and EHR systems for efficient record-keeping and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

We value at least two years of post-licensure experience in a similar mental health counseling role, particularly experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies. Familiarity with evidence-based interventions such as EMDR and TF-CBT will be especially beneficial in this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This rewarding position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a strong salary package, we provide:
