Work Environment\n

Our telehealth model allows for flexible work arrangements, enabling therapists to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes while effectively addressing mental health needs. Your work hours will typically be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

In this position, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather detailed histories and assess the patients' therapy needs and challenges.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, helping patients develop resilience in the face of their experiences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), effectively guiding patients through their recovery process.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group workshops that encourage patients to process their trauma and cultivate healthy coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other professionals, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care for optimal outcomes.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, which will require you to remain calm and decisive under pressure.

• Engage in educational efforts with patients and their families to help them understand trauma responses and available resources for support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with both legal requirements and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings aimed at enhancing our trauma-informed care practices.

• Continually update your knowledge of best practices in trauma therapy to deliver the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals recovering from trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is critical in providing a supportive therapeutic environment that promotes healing and empowers clients to navigate their recovery journeys productively.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and therapeutic software to enhance client management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
