Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, including interviews and psychological evaluations, mapping out the unique psychological needs of each client.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans for various demographics, including individuals, couples, and groups, ensuring alignment with each client’s goals and mental health needs.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions through virtual mediums, adapting therapeutic approaches to meet clients' specific challenges.
\n
• Continuously monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments as needed to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to develop and execute comprehensive care strategies.

• Follow up on clients admitted to hospital settings, coordinating care and communication with attending physicians to enhance the recovery process.

• Provide support and education to family members and caregivers, assisting them in navigating mental health challenges associated with their loved ones.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.
\n
• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated success passing the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong proficiency and comfort with electronic health records systems, with experience using platforms like AVATAR or similar software.
\n
• Proficient understanding of substance abuse issues and fundamental medical health conditions that can affect psychological therapy.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal capabilities, fostering a therapeutic rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting is preferred.
\n
• Experience working with diverse populations, especially in a telehealth format, is a significant plus.
\n
• A working knowledge of the guidelines from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and a commitment to best practices in mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
