Key Responsibilities\n

• Empower clients by assisting them with skill-building techniques aimed at overcoming current obstacles and preparing them for future challenges.

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment plans, integrating professionals from different specializations to provide comprehensive care.

• Perform crisis intervention assessments and implement screening protocols to effectively evaluate and plan necessary treatments for adolescents in crisis.

• Provide specialized counseling to adolescents with serious mental health issues, cognitive impairments, or developmental disabilities, ensuring tailored support that meets their unique needs.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on various themes in mental health, promoting discussion, education, and peer support.

• Document and maintain accurate and concise clinical records, noting clients' progress, treatment plans, and essential intake details consistently.

• Run workshops and training sessions for detention and probation staff aimed at equipping them with effective strategies for skill-building and support for adolescents under their care.

• Establish connections with community providers for seamless discharge processes, ensuring continuity of care when clients transition out of services.
