Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new clients, including the administration of diagnostic evaluations utilizing tools such as the GAIN and LOCUS to accurately identify treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailored to meet the unique goals and requirements of each client, taking into account their cognitive, emotional, and social circumstances.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities, and adjusting approaches based on the client's progress and feedback.
\n
• Engage in continuous training and supervision, ensuring compliance with agency regulations and best practices in behavioral health intervention.

• Maintain regular documentation of client progress and treatment interventions in accordance with state and federal regulations.
\n
• Effectively collaborate with healthcare providers, community resources, and law enforcement as needed, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure client safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a virtual mental health counselor, you will work with a diverse population of clients, including adolescents and adults dealing with various mental health disorders, substance use challenges, and significant life transitions. It is essential to approach each individual with cultural sensitivity and respect, addressing their unique backgrounds and personal circumstances while fostering a safe environment for open discussion.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Current and valid licenses as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party background check.

• Authorization to work in the United States.

• Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to engage with a variety of clients and professionals from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings or telehealth services is preferred.

• Familiarity with assessment tools, clinical documentation standards, and treatment planning methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
