Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

• Utilize various evidence-based modalities to implement therapeutic interventions, providing short-term counseling for individuals dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, addiction, domestic violence, and other mental health concerns.

• Engage in effective case management for clients, ensuring they receive appropriate support during their treatment process.
\n
• Participate as a crucial member of the therapeutic team, assisting in crisis intervention and triage, including risk assessments and de-escalation strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care providers and community organizations, to facilitate continuity of care and support for clients after crisis events.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Therapist will work predominantly with clients from diverse backgrounds who may experience a range of challenges, including but not limited to trauma, chronic mental health issues, and psychosocial stressors. This role requires a culturally competent approach to care, understanding the unique dynamics that affect individuals and families within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in behavioral science is required, along with a valid BBS designation (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC).

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is essential.

• Demonstrated clinical skills in working with individuals, groups, and families are vital.

• Knowledge of various mental health disorders and established treatment methodologies is necessary.

• A valid driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation are required for potential face-to-face interactions, including home visits.
