Wellness Care Psychological Center is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists, including LMFTs, LPCs, and LCSWs, for full-time positions within our community health clinic. The work environment at Wellness Care Psychological Center is designed to promote collaboration and support among our healthcare professionals. As a remote position, therapists can work from various settings while engaging in regular virtual meetings and consultations with colleagues. While the primary work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and goals of patients, ensuring individualized treatment planning.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to address the diverse concerns of patients.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at fostering community, understanding, and resilience among participants dealing with similar mental health issues.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services and support to individuals experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can support their wellness journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for record-keeping.

• Actively participate in case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to a culture of learning and growth.

• Stay informed on current research and advancements in mental health therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists serve a diverse client population, comprising individuals and families from various backgrounds and demographics. Many clients face complex mental health issues that require tailored approaches, and our therapists are equipped to work with both adults and children. The focus on community health allows therapists to understand and appreciate the socio-economic factors affecting mental health, making culturally sensitive care a priority.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques.

• Proven ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop effective treatment strategies tailored to individual patient needs.

• Experience in providing therapy to individuals and groups, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technological tools.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, upholding professional ethics and standards.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional training in specialized therapeutic modalities such as trauma-informed care or substance abuse counseling will be strongly considered. Familiarity with community health resources and networks in El Paso is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
