Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite at our expansive rehabilitation facility, which features modern amenities spanning 5000 square feet. The environment is designed to promote healing and recovery, making it a perfect setting for physical rehabilitation. Here, you will be engaged in dynamic interactions with patients, working from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a steady and manageable caseload that enables you to provide individual-focused attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess the rehabilitation needs of patients, establishing treatment objectives that align with their personal goals and recovery timelines.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure that each patient receives focused and quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide cost-effective therapies aimed at improving clients' mobility and physical function.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific conditions and preferences, employing diverse therapeutic techniques.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that not only enhance rehabilitation outcomes but also promote long-term health and prevention.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and EMR software (such as WebPT) for efficient documentation and patient management practices.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, motivating them to achieve their optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care efforts that enhance overall treatment effectiveness.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and modify treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving goals.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions, treatment procedures, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your primary focus will be patients with orthopedic conditions requiring outpatient rehabilitation services. Our clientele primarily includes individuals with private medical insurance, hence you will be equipped to cater to various cases that underline the need for tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with specific background in orthopedic outpatient settings preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to administer evidence-based treatment modalities to optimize patient recovery outcomes.
• Experience collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 130,000 to USD 140,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
