Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Silver Head Psychiatry Clinic, you will be expected to:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions in a remote setting, utilizing telehealth technology in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, enhancing skills across diverse topics such as trauma, grief, and relational dynamics.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) to track patient progress and treatment outcomes.
\n
• Engage with clients and their families, offering culturally sensitive support and resources to help them manage their mental health.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults, each with unique cultural backgrounds and mental health challenges. The clinic’s focus on culturally sensitive therapy ensures that your approach aligns with the values and customs of the families you serve, building trust and promoting effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited program.
\n
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license for practice in California.
\n
• Proficient in both Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills in verbal, written, and non-verbal formats.

• Minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health setting, specifically with children, adults, and families.
\n
• Demonstrated sensitivity to cultural diversity and the ability to respect and incorporate various family customs in treatment.

• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, or EMDR is essential.

• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software like Microsoft Office Suite.

• Commitment to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality in handling patient information.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specific areas of specialization such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Prior experience as an in-network provider with insurance panels.
\n
• A strong desire to continuously develop skills in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Experience with community outreach or involvement with underserved populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Your hard work is rewarded at Silver Head Psychiatry Clinic with a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 - 105,000 per year , in addition to signing bonuses and the potential for performance bonuses.
