As a member of a telehealth team, you will collaborate with colleagues and multidisciplinary professionals in various settings, including outpatient offices and community engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities\n

• Participate in community engagement activities designed to promote holistic wellness, fostering a village-building approach among birthing individuals and their families.

• Engage actively in clinical consultations and multidisciplinary co-learning opportunities to enhance professional skills and service delivery.
\n
• Conduct thorough clinical documentation using electronic health record systems to maintain compliance and quality in patient care.
\n
• Deliver direct behavioral health services, including assessments, counseling, and case management tailored to the unique needs of Black birthing families.
\n
• Work collaboratively with prenatal care team members, including medical providers, midwives, doulas, and lactation consultants, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
\n
• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups alongside birth workers, creating supportive environments for new families.
\n
• Remain adaptable and responsive by performing additional duties as assigned in alignment with organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will primarily support Black birthing families, addressing the mental health challenges they face during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. We prioritize culturally relevant approaches, recognizing the significance of community, culture, and family systems in mental health and wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC is mandatory to practice in California.
\n
• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse and interdisciplinary teams.

• Effective organizational and efficiency skills, with the ability to work independently and request assistance when necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with multicultural populations, particularly within the perinatal and maternal mental health sectors.

• Familiarity with community resources and support networks for birthing individuals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
