This full-time position is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in Woodbridge, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients referred by physicians, evaluating their physical ability, and developing tailored treatment plans aimed at rehabilitation and prevention.
• Implementing a range of therapeutic interventions across various specialties such as orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Providing in-clinic and home-based therapy that uses proven techniques to enhance patients' functional abilities, aligning with their physician's treatment guidelines.
• Demonstrating outstanding customer service to ensure a positive experience for each patient.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care strategies that achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educating patients and their caregivers on exercises, strategies, and health maintenance to advance their recovery.
• Tracking and documenting patient progress while meeting the establishment's utilization goals and business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients who seek physical therapy for various conditions, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and sport-related injuries. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor's degree is required, candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and at least two years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting will be preferred. Experience in multiple specialties can enhance your application.
