This position allows you to work remotely, offering flexibility and work-life balance while serving a vital role in our child and adolescent psychiatry team. While your regular hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through interviews, observations, and standardized tools to understand the unique needs of each child or adolescent.

• Develop, implement, and tailor individualized treatment plans that consider developmental milestones, family dynamics, and specific mental health challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to effectively address a range of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers with strategies to create supportive and nurturing environments for their children.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure coherent and coordinated care for our young patients.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to foster understanding and engagement in care.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Stay updated on current research and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously improve treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. You will engage with patients in a manner that respects their individual experiences and promotes trust, ensuring they feel safe and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania is mandatory.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, including developmental considerations and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents is essential.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships and rapport with young clients and their families.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications for effective practice management.

• A collaborative attitude, with the ability to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The yearly salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, complemented by potential bonuses. We also offer a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
