Work Environment In this remote role, you will engage with clients through teletherapy, using innovative technology to conduct sessions that suit their schedules and comfort levels. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough virtual assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices. Provide therapeutic services—including individual, couple, and family therapy—utilizing techniques and modalities rooted in the latest research. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and case notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and our organization's policies. Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, clinical social workers, and psychiatrists, ensuring a coordinated and holistic approach to client care. Participate in ongoing clinical supervision, training sessions, and professional development programs to refine your skills and methodologies. Stay current with emerging trends and research in the field of marriage and family therapy to enhance service quality. Uphold ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards in all professional practices. Patient Population / Client Focus You will provide services to a diverse client base that includes individuals, couples, adolescents, and families facing various challenges. Our clinic serves a broad spectrum of the community, including those dealing with relationship issues, mental health disorders, substance abuse, and significant life transitions. Your role is pivotal in fostering resilience and promoting mental wellness among these populations. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field. Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington state. A minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting. Preferred Experience Experience working with diverse populations, including families and children, to provide tailored therapeutic interventions. Proficiency in using the DSM-5 for diagnosis and developing relevant treatment plans. Strong communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills that foster effective client relationships. Adept with electronic health record systems, enhancing the efficiency of client management and documentation. Ability to thrive independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Flexibility in adapting to evolving schedules and shifting client needs.
