Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and psychosocial assessments, documenting client cases from the initial point of contact through to the completion of treatment.

• Design and implement customized intervention and recovery plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Lead both individual counseling sessions and group therapy workshops, facilitating discussions that promote healing and growth.

• Monitor client progress toward therapeutic goals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers as needed.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring more advanced medical interventions.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and devise strategies to prevent regressive behaviors, ensuring a supportive recovery environment for clients.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers on how to cope with and manage mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Active and current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in Texas.

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas clearly and empathetically.

Preferred Experience\n

• Knowledge of best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Understanding of the pharmacologic treatments prescribed by physicians and their potential effects on clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus.
