Position OverviewTouchstone Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) to join our team in a full-time capacity. Work EnvironmentThis position offers a unique opportunity to work primarily from a remote setting while still engaging in an outpatient office environment. You will have the flexibility to offer therapeutic services through virtual platforms, allowing you to manage your schedule effectively. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, allowing for the formulation of precise clinical diagnoses and customized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic sessions via individual, group, or family formats, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy, adapted to meet the distinct objectives of each client.
- Deliver crisis intervention and support to clients undergoing acute mental health struggles, employing rapid assessment and response techniques to ensure immediate safety and stabilization.
- Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting treatment progress, assessment outcomes, and updates to treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, involving psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure a well-coordinated approach to client care.
- Educate clients and their families regarding mental health challenges, treatment options, and resources available within the community, advocating for their needs and rights as necessary.
- Stay informed of the latest developments in mental health therapy through ongoing training and professional development opportunities, ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge therapeutic interventions.
The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your role will involve addressing a spectrum of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues, fostering therapeutic relationships that promote trust and openness.
Qualifications- Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) is required.
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is essential for this role.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, enabling effective formulation of treatment approaches.
- At least two years of relevant clinical experience is necessary, providing you with the confidence to manage a range of client needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for articulating complex concepts to clients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- The ability to work independently with initiative while also being a cooperative team member.
- A commitment to uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in mental health practice.
- Experience in a clinical outpatient setting is advantageous, though not mandatory; we consider entry-level applications as well.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology, enhancing the teletherapy experience for clients.
The salary for this full-time position ranges between USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus to qualified candidates!
