Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients including evaluations of their medical history, physical condition, functional limitations, and rehabilitation objectives to develop effective treatment plans.
• Design individualized plans of care derived from assessment findings, ensuring they align with the patient's goals and values.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the necessary steps involved in their therapy journey, ensuring they feel empowered and engaged in their recovery process.
• Implement a range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques and customized exercise prescriptions to facilitate improvement in physical function.
• Track and monitor each patient's progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and treatment services meticulously to provide clear insights into patient progress and facilitate continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic rehabilitation, catering to a variety of conditions such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain disorders, and functional movement impairments. You will work with diverse patients, ranging from athletes aiming to return to peak performance to older adults seeking improved mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure in the State of California as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your licensure.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques that enhance patient outcomes.
