Mountain Top Cardiology Consultants is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic outpatient practice located in the vibrant city of Rochester, New York. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Center for Advanced Cardiac Care (CACC), where you will play a critical role in shaping patient care under the guidance of our Chief Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director. Work Environment

This role is set in a collaborative outpatient environment, emphasizing teamwork among NPs, cardiologists, registered nurses, and administrative support staff. Our typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no night shifts, weekend commitments, or call duties, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. This onsite position within our facility enhances the direct interaction with patients and immediate colleagues, fostering an inclusive atmosphere focused on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through detailed history-taking and physical examinations, aiming to deliver personalized care.
• Manage the health of patients with chronic conditions, including hypertension and high cholesterol, to help them achieve optimal heart health.
• Provide specialized outpatient Electrophysiology services for patients suffering from arrhythmias and abnormal electrocardiograms.
• Monitor and treat acute cardiac conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease, and Congestive Heart Failure.
• Administer and interpret stress testing, ensuring timely and accurate evaluations of heart function.
• Collaborate with cardiologists for consultation and specialized supervision, enhancing patient outcomes.
• Prescribe medications as necessary and coordinate referrals to specialists within our network when required.
• Educate patients and family members about heart health management and treatment plans, empowering them to take proactive steps in their care.

In this role, you will be serving a diverse patient population, including individuals with chronic heart conditions, those seeking preventive care, and patients who require follow-up treatments for acute situations. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing paired with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nurse Practitioner studies.
• Active Nurse Practitioner certification from an accredited program.
• A current, valid nursing license to practice in the state of New York.
• Completion of an accredited NP program that aligns with the emphasis of the practice.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
