Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments involving detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and the interpretation of diagnostic tests specifically focusing on cardiovascular health.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans through collaborative efforts with cardiologists and other healthcare team members, ensuring that patients receive holistic and effective care.
• Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions, such as hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias, through routine patient monitoring and tailored interventions.
• Educate patients and their families about lifestyle changes, medication adherence, and preventive measures essential for maintaining cardiac health and managing existing conditions.
• Perform and analyze diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, stress tests, and echocardiograms, to assess cardiac function accurately.
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies while adhering to established clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate actively in follow-up care to assess treatment efficacy, ensuring continuity of care and timely adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Keep detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices for healthcare documentation.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution with a strong focus on advanced clinical practice.
• Possession of a current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits
