This position is primarily remote, offering the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or in our outpatient office as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, either in the home setting or at our outpatient center, focusing on therapeutic techniques that foster emotional and behavioral growth.

• Provide specialized behavioral support, including anger management and social skills training, aimed at reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) and aggression.
\n
• Enhance decision-making abilities for both youth and caregivers, equipping them with tools to manage in-home challenges effectively.

• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to deliver an integrated approach to care and ensure continuous support for the families.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to organizational standards.

• Participate in monthly team meetings and contribute to case discussions and program recommendations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary clientele includes children and adolescents, ages 3 to 20, who may be facing developmental and intellectual disabilities (I/DD). As a therapist in our organization, you will be dedicated to providing culturally sensitive therapy that honors the unique backgrounds and experiences of each child and family. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding them through their challenges and supporting their growth in a compassionate manner.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is required to practice in Colorado.
\n
• Availability to work a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during late afternoon and evening hours, particularly between 4 PM and 7 PM, with weekend availability being an additional asset.

• Experience in providing positive behavior support and interventions is essential.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are mandatory for traveling to client homes.
\n
• A clean criminal background check, including successful fingerprinting results, is required.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working directly with children aged 3-20 who have intellectual or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.

• Fluency in either Spanish or Portuguese to accommodate a broader range of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
