Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct initial evaluations, including a thorough review of patient history and administration of specific assessments to develop a personalized treatment plan.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies effectively to patients and their families, involving them in the goal-setting process to facilitate their engagement in recovery.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that are responsive to each patient's unique presentation and evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on observed changes in patient conditions.
• Facilitate comprehensive discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care, ensuring continuity and quality of care post-rehabilitation.
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of patient progress, encompassing evaluations, treatment plans, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries to accurately reflect the patient's journey through care.
• Utilize effective time management strategies to meet productivity expectations while keeping an organized schedule and being punctual for appointments and meetings.
• Engage in marketing and outreach activities to promote our services within the community, enhancing patient access and community awareness.
• Contribute to departmental objectives and initiatives while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Proactively pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance professional growth and competence, and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff or interns.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience
