Work Environment

Located in the picturesque surroundings of The Villages, Florida, our state-of-the-art outpatient office provides a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients. As a physical therapist here, you will work full-time, typically around 40 hours per week with variable weekend shifts as necessary. Our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation equipment and technologies to ensure optimal patient care and a robust working experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, developing individualized treatment plans based on assessments and patient goals.
• Provide ongoing consultations to healthcare providers regarding the patient's continuum of care, ensuring seamless communication throughout treatment.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment modalities, and progress notes to adhere to applicable regulations and professional standards.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities, regularly reassessing patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, preventative care, and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other allied health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in departmental meetings, display leadership in community outreach initiatives, and contribute to ongoing program development.

Qualifications
