Work Environment

Located in The Villages, Florida, our facility operates in a home care setting, providing a unique and intimate environment for patient interactions. Our clinicians are supported by a collaborative team that focuses on optimizing patient outcomes using innovative treatments. You will enjoy a Monday to Friday work schedule, working 40 hours a week, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians to establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient mobility and function.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication throughout the patient journey, ensuring a high standard of care.
• Provide skilled therapeutic services in the comfort of the patient's home, using a variety of modalities to promote healing.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, exercise techniques, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes and meet established utilization goals.
• Document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve the best possible results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse array of patients, primarily focusing on orthopedics, but also venturing into pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties. Each patient presents unique challenges that require tailored therapeutic approaches, allowing you to apply your expertise in various clinical scenarios while fostering strong relationships with those you serve.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect positively with patients and their families.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred, but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in a home health care setting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment protocols and rehabilitation techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
