Trinity Health Physical Therapy LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our full-time team at our Rehabilitation Center located in The Villages, Florida. Work Environment

You will work onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center, an environment designed to foster healing and recovery. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and facilities to support various therapy modalities, ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient needs.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to promote recovery.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on their treatment plans, empowering them with self-management strategies.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly and accurately to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in regular training sessions and professional development to stay current with industry advances.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on treating orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Additionally, you may work with pediatric patients or those with neurological conditions, providing a diverse range of treatment experiences. Our approach emphasizes building authentic connections with patients to support their emotional and physical recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited institution.
• Active state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective patient interactions.
• Proficient in using computer systems for patient documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience

While a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred, candidates with a strong background in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy will also be highly considered. Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting and familiarity with evidence-based practices will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
