Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in The Villages, Florida. You will operate within a vibrant, multidisciplinary team atmosphere, working closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. The rehabilitation facility emphasizes patient engagement and active participation in the recovery process, offering a comprehensive support system for our clients. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced professional life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' functional capabilities and develop personalized treatment plans that address their individual needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a range of cost-effective treatment techniques that enhance mobility, function, and overall health. Techniques may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients on non-surgical alternatives to medication, emphasizing lifestyle adjustments that promote quicker recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload to foster deeper connections and better outcomes, allowing you to spend dedicated time with each patient.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously to ensure that treatments are effective and aligned with best practices in physical therapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create a seamless continuum of care that supports comprehensive patient recovery.
• Motivate and inspire patients, fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages them to take an active role in their recovery journey.
• Develop wellness and fitness programs tailored to patients' specific needs, which may include balance training, stretching regimes, and strength conditioning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse outpatient clientele, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation after surgeries or managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Ability to effectively use EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate record-keeping and efficient communication.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy methodologies and clinical practices supported by evidence-based research.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working with a broad spectrum of patient demographics, including athletes and post-operative clients.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and innovative rehabilitation strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
