The Mental Health Counselor will operate in a remote outpatient setting, allowing flexibility and the opportunity to serve clients from the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide clinical consultation and support to fellow staff members regarding a variety of mental health conditions, including nuanced cases involving geriatric patients and individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

• Communicate necessary patient and family information to appropriate clinical personnel, ensuring that relevant social histories and concerns are accurately conveyed.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and strategize individualized patient care plans, taking into account contextual factors such as the patient's home environment.

• Design and implement treatment plans that are evidence-based, ensuring that all patient care adheres to best practices and regulatory standards.

• Document clinical interactions and complete progress notes efficiently to monitor patient progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary.

• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and consultations to enhance your professional development and contribute to collective knowledge within our organization.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting quickly to the evolving needs of our patient population and the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including adolescents, adults, and the elderly, each facing unique mental health challenges. Our clients often come from various cultural backgrounds and may present with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will play a crucial part in providing compassionate care that not only addresses their immediate needs but also promotes long-term recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Possession of independent licenses—LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT is required.

• Demonstrated ability to thoroughly and accurately complete progress notes and other documentation in a timely manner after client sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Substantial clinical experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
