Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized assessments and evaluations, formulating tailored therapeutic strategies that meet the unique needs of each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, couples, and families, ensuring the application of the most effective approaches.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting techniques as necessary based on client progress.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's well-being are addressed holistically.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards, safeguarding patient confidentiality and data integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will primarily work with individuals and families who have limited access to mental health care, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use disorders. You will help clients navigate their challenges, facilitating pathways towards recovery and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Tennessee.

• At least two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical environment.
