Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting that allows you the flexibility to create your own schedule while serving clients through our telehealth platform. You will collaborate with a supportive team of mental health professionals, including a supervisor with expertise in attachment trauma, complex PTSD, EMDR, and dissociation. The role is structured to minimize administrative burdens, enabling you to focus primarily on client care and therapeutic relationships.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.

• Evaluate safety concerns and make informed decisions regarding crisis intervention when necessary, all while maintaining therapeutic integrity.

• Provide bi-weekly sessions for clients, ensuring consistent therapeutic support and adjusting treatment approaches based on progress and feedback.

• Engage in regular consultations with fellow counselors to discuss case management, offer support, and refer clients when required.

• Efficiently document client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving adults, children, adolescents, and couples navigating the complexities of trauma and related mental health challenges. We value diverse applications of therapeutic techniques, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS (Internal Family Systems), and we encourage counselors adept in these areas to apply.

Qualifications\n

• Minimum educational requirement of a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon is preferred.

• Ability to leverage technology effectively, including proficiency in using computer programs for documentation and telehealth services.

Preferred Experience\n

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working with trauma populations, including those who have a vested interest in therapies designed for PTSD. Compensation and Benefits\n
