This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work environment, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with clients. Our telehealth facility is equipped with secure systems that ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations, enabling you to conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and consultations with ease. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Engaging actively in clinical consultations and participating in multidisciplinary co-learning spaces to enhance your professional growth and team effectiveness.
\n
• Completing all required clinical documentation thoroughly and timely, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
\n
• Delivering direct behavioral health services, including assessments, counseling, and case management tailored to the unique needs of Black birthing families.
\n
• Working collaboratively with prenatal care team members, including medical providers, midwives, doulas, and lactation educators, to provide integrated, comprehensive care.
\n
• Co-facilitating childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups alongside qualified birth workers, enhancing community support networks.
\n
• Participating in community engagement activities that promote holistic wellness and build supportive networks among birthing individuals and families.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting Black birthing families, addressing both their mental health and emotional well-being during a critical period in their lives. You will assist these families by offering culturally responsive behavioral health assessments and interventions, aiming to foster resilience and positive mental health outcomes in a traditionally underserved community.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in a behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse and multicultural clientele and professional staff.
\n
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience working with prenatal and postnatal populations, as well as familiarity with community health resources, is preferred. Candidates who have previously collaborated with interdisciplinary teams in a telehealth setting will find themselves well-prepared for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, our benefits include:
