Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health issues and substance use concerns, allowing for accurate diagnoses of co-occurring disorders.

• Educate clients and their families on the interconnectedness of mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment protocols.

• Document treatment plans and progress promptly and accurately, upholding ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, training sessions, and team meetings to continuously enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge related to co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with co-occurring disorders that complicate their mental health and recovery journeys. This diverse patient population may include adults and adolescents facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Proficiency in applying evidence-based therapies specifically designed for co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A solid understanding of the relationship between mental health and substance use diagnoses.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 .
