Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial interviews to assess and document clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health from start to finish of the treatment journey.

• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and recovery strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups that reflect their unique needs and goals.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that promote self-awareness, emotional processing, and personal growth.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to create comprehensive intervention strategies for clients.

• Provide follow-up support for clients as needed, including coordination with psychiatrists for those requiring hospitalization for crisis situations.
\n
• Work with family members and primary caregivers to equip them with the tools they need to address mental health challenges and support recovery efforts.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in psychotherapy practices to continuously enhance your therapeutic skills and client care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a broad spectrum of individuals grappling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Florida as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW .
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong understanding and experience with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain detailed and organized client records.
\n
• Guided expertise in treating clients with both mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders, ensuring comprehensive care strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

• A proven track record of previous experience as a mental health counselor within an outpatient setting.

• Familiarity with best practices recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge regarding the impact of pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical specialists.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that enable you to effectively engage with clients and collaboration partners.

Compensation and Benefits\n
