Work Environment

The position is entirely onsite, as we provide services directly within the patients' homes. This unique work environment allows you to assess and treat individuals in their own spaces, promoting more effective therapeutic interventions tailored to their specific living conditions. You will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced professional lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions and needs through comprehensive physical examinations.
• Develop individualized care plans combining evidence-based treatment techniques aimed at enhancing patient mobility and functional capacity.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring thorough attention and care to each individual.
• Implement non-invasive, cost-effective treatments that prioritize active rehabilitation over medications or surgical options.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise programs tailored to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation processes, fostering a positive mindset and commitment to recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient outcomes and share insights on progress.
• Monitor treatment effects through ongoing evaluations and document all aspects of care service provided.
• Continuously engage in professional development to stay informed of the latest industry practices and innovate treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our core focus is on orthopedic outpatient care, working primarily with patients recovering from surgeries, acute injuries, chronic conditions, and those seeking preventative measures to maintain their physical health. You will engage with a diverse client population, ensuring that all patients receive empathetic and personalized attention throughout their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A valid California Physical Therapist license with no disciplinary actions against it.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise regimens.
• Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT for efficient patient documentation and care tracking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in home healthcare settings will be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, starting between USD 100,000 and 125,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
