We primarily serve a clientele with private medical insurance, ensuring a diverse range of orthopedic cases.

Work Environment

Located in Hayward, California, our facility offers a collaborative and supportive work environment. As a Physical Therapist in a home care setting, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients in various settings, allowing for personalized care. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing work-life balance while allowing you to focus on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the individual needs of each patient to create tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain an effective patient load of one patient per hour to ensure quality care and thorough interaction.
• Utilize your prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care to implement evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Develop and execute cost-effective intervention strategies that enhance mobility and function.
• Promote non-surgical alternatives, working with patients to minimize their reliance on medications.
• Create and customize fitness and wellness programs to meet the unique requirements of each patient.
• Continuously evaluate ongoing treatment effects and adjust care plans as needed, maintaining open lines of communication with patients and their families.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment services in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgical interventions, or injuries. Our clientele includes a diverse group with varied needs, allowing you to apply your skills across a wide spectrum of physical therapy challenges, from post-operative rehabilitation to preventative care programs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise routines tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey.

Preferred Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient care setting. Previous experience in home care may also be beneficial. Your ability to adapt to different patient environments and conditions will set you apart as a candidate.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
