Work Environment

This role is conducted in a remote telehealth setting, allowing flexibility and accessibility for both counselors and clients. Key Responsibilities

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging virtual group therapy sessions that provide a safe space for clients to connect, share personal stories, and learn from one another in a supportive environment.
• Individual Counseling: Deliver tailored one-on-one therapy sessions, adhering to confidentiality norms, where you will help clients explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors to develop effective coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs and goals, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and assess clients' progress through established methodologies, including qualitative feedback and quantitative assessment tools, to modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborative Care: Work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and support staff, ensuring cohesive care delivery and frequent communication regarding complex client cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is primarily focused on providing counseling to teens and young adults (ages 18-30) who are grappling with various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. Our evidence-based programs and supportive environment are designed to meet the unique challenges faced by this demographic, fostering their resilience and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Licensure: Must possess a valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a mental health counseling role, preferably with adolescents or young adults.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth capacity is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using teletherapy tools and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating young adults, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between USD 85,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
