Work Environment\n

This position is uniquely remote, offering the flexibility to deliver outpatient services through telehealth platforms as well as in-person sessions at our office located in Round Lake. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to cater to the needs of our patients. A certain degree of scheduling flexibility may be necessary to accommodate differing patient availability. We provide a technologically advanced workspace with access to electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing the efficacy and quality of care provided.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological status of patients, effectively identifying their treatment needs.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on assessment results, addressing the specific challenges and goals of patients.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing coping strategies, emotional processing, and personal growth.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic and integrated patient care.

• Assist in crisis situations, providing timely interventions and supports to patients in mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment avenues, and available community resources to empower informed decisions.

• Maintain meticulous documentation that meets legal and ethical standards while ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and team meetings, contributing to case discussions and staying abreast of developments in mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proficiency in creating sound assessments and treatment plans, with the ability to use data effectively in clinical decision-making.

• Strong skills in therapeutic approaches, particularly in delivering both individual and group therapy.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, capable of handling high-pressure situations with poise and professional judgment.

• Competence in using electronic health records and other relevant technology to document patient interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 75,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
