Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Navigate Family & Youth Therapy Services, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand clients' histories and tailor treatment approaches.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and building resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address clients' needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that help patients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.
\n
• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic and integrated care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective response.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms while providing resources to assist in their healing journey.

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, enhancing your therapeutic skills continuously.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will cater primarily to individuals experiencing trauma-related disorders, including children, adolescents, and adults. We specifically look for behavioral health generalists who are open to seeing couples, with training provided as necessary. Your work will directly contribute to transforming lives by aiding clients through their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 annually, along with:
