Executive Assistant - Legal

Overview The Executive Administrative Assistant provides high‑level administrative support to the Chief Counsel, Litigation and other attorneys in Government & Legal Affairs. The role supports senior leadership with scheduling, documentation, travel, expense reporting and special projects in a fast‑paced litigation department. Key Responsibilities Lead day‑to‑day administrative support for senior litigation leaders and attorneys. Produce high‑quality documents, presentations, reports, charts, memos, and correspondence with accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail. Manage complex calendar schedules, prioritizing meetings, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and aligning schedules with business priorities. Handle multiple assignments simultaneously, including workload prioritization, expense reporting, travel arrangements, matter management and e‑billing tools. Build strong working relationships across all organizational levels, including executive assistants to senior leaders, while maintaining professionalism. Coordinate special projects, department initiatives, meetings, and events, making independent decisions within the scope of responsibilities. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3‑5 years of administrative experience supporting multiple leaders, with proven ability to manage time, priorities and confidential information independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint and related legal or document‑management tools; able to learn new systems quickly. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail. Demonstrated discretion, sound judgment and the ability to anticipate the needs of legal professionals in a fast‑paced environment. High School diploma required. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of executive support experience to senior leaders. Experience interacting with executives at all levels. Proactive, solution‑focused work style with strong prioritization, organization and proofreading skills. Ability to take responsibility for ad‑hoc initiatives and special projects, using good judgment and independent problem‑solving. Location Hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the New York office. Compensation Expected salary range $62,300 – $83,100, with eligibility for annual short‑term incentive compensation and stock‑based long‑term incentives.
