Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions in our outpatient center, focusing on therapeutic interventions tailored to each child's unique needs.

• Implement strategies for anger management, coping skills development, and social skills training aimed at reducing high-risk behaviors.

• Collaborate closely with the Child Family Treatment Team and various healthcare professionals to ensure that all aspects of a child’s mental health and behavioral needs are addressed holistically.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to track progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Document all sessions and treatment progress accurately and timely, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and contribute recommendations for improving therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Pro Wellness, you will work with a diverse array of children and adolescents aged 3-20 who are experiencing developmental and intellectual disabilities. The families you work with are often navigating complex emotional and behavioral challenges, and your role will be pivotal in offering support and guidance to help them manage these situations effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is essential.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory.

• A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to facilitate travel as needed.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required for employment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
