Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history, facilitating appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, promoting resilience, and addressing individual patient goals.

• Utilize recognized therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing experiences, adopting coping strategies, and fostering healing.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic, integrated care for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support, guiding clients through trauma-related emergencies when necessary.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources that can support their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic records in compliance with legal ethics and standards.

• Consistently participate in case consultations and team meetings dedicated to trauma-informed care, enhancing team synergy and patient care standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals recovering from trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated dissociative disorders. You'll employ empathy and culturally sensitive techniques with diverse clientele and will have the opportunity to witness and impact significant changes in their recovery trajectories.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field is preferred, showcasing competence in trauma-related therapeutic practices.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed methods and resilience-building approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
