Work Environment

This position requires onsite engagement primarily in our modern clinic setting. As part of a small, collaborative team comprised of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will enjoy a supportive and close-knit work environment. You will work flexible hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a work-life balance while dedicating your efforts to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their specific needs and therapeutic goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and specialized exercise regimens.
• Maintain a patient caseload of one patient per hour; monitor and assess progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide educational support and encouragement to patients, motivating them to actively participate in their rehabilitation and achieve their functional goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and ensure comprehensive health management.
• Document all patient interactions in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, maintaining accurate and thorough records on EMR platforms, such as WebPT.
• Promote and advocate for a healthy lifestyle among patients, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Evaluate and reduce the need for pharmaceuticals and invasive procedures by providing effective, cost-efficient treatment solutions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, and seeking improvement in physical performance. Your role is crucial in guiding these individuals through their rehabilitation journey using best practices in physical therapy to empower them to live healthier, more active lives.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• History of a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Ability to develop tailored exercise programs based on individual patient assessments.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desirable.
• Understanding of the latest modalities and treatment methods in orthopedic care.
• Demonstrated success in managing and scheduling patient care efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
